There`s no way one can escape karma. No, really, I can prove it! Yesterday I had one of those days where nothing was going right - I managed to stain my clean trousers with pink chalk that someone left on the easel I was working on, I had black chips of leather from my earphones stuck behind my ears, and I went through the entire city w/o even noticing it (!), and finished it all off with a horrible, sleepless night.

Today however...I managed to find all my fashion sketches, "suited-up" and checked for those darn leather chips (none were there, thank god - really have to get new earphones), printed out what I had to print and ran into a friend of mine I haven`t seen in years. And then...this is sweet...My professor liked my fashion sketches (I got an A!!! WOOT!), and suggested to maybe make a contact with this professor who specialized in illustration and mention my name...maybe I could meet him and maybe, just MAYBE he would be willing to look at my sketches and then - who knows? Mentoring...do I even dare to think about it? Well, I, as a born pessimist will not put too much thought into it, I`m still flying solo and am constantly working on my drawing skills by myself. Having a mentor would be nice, though...someone who can show you a trick or two. We`ll see...
